Wayne Morgan is a Consultant to Appleby Services (Bermuda) Ltd. He joined the firm in June 2005 as Managing Director and retired from that position in February 2009.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators. He also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
Wayne worked in the UK, Kenya and Switzerland as an accountant before coming to Bermuda in 1975 where he was initially employed in the Ministry of Finance becoming the Deputy Accountant General. In 1980 he joined the management firm of Johnson & Higgins (Bermuda) Ltd., which at the time was the largest manager of captive insurance companies in the world, where, after having held various management positions he became the branch manager and a principal of the parent organization. In 1996 he joined Codan Services Limited, an affiliate of the law firm Conyers Dill & Pearman as a corporate manager with responsibility for an extensive portfolio of companies and partnerships.
